Detailed Itinerary:



Day 1: City Tour



On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by a staff from Ansima Safaris limited who will then lead you to your Hotel. Depending on the arrival time, you will check into the Hotel and after tour Kampala city where you will visit attractive places like Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, the Bahai Temple, Uganda Museum, Makerere University, Kasubi Tombs, Rubaga Cathedral and Namirembe Cathedral, Buganda Kingdom Palace and Kabaka’s lake, shopping malls in town and also craft shops and also National Theatre among others. This will lead us to our dinner and an overnight at any Hotel of your choice with a good standing.



Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park:



We shall drive early in the morning after breakfast towards the western region from Kampala and on our way we shall stop at the Equator for photographs and then proceed to Bwindi via Maramagambo Forest and Ishasha sector following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range. On our way along the Ishasha sector, we shall see animals like the Waterbucks, Elephants, Antelopes, Buffalos and Kobs. We shall reach Bwindi late in the evening

Dinner and overnight at the Luxurious Gorilla Resort Camp/ Mahogany Springs /Lake Kitandara Camp /Basic Buhoma community Bandas.



Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.



Early in the morning after breakfast, we shall enter the Uganda Gorilla Sanctuary. This provides a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape which is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing easy access to the tourists. Here we shall find mammals like the Mountain Gorilla, the rare Golden Monkey, Buffalos, Elephants, Black fronted Duiker, Bushbucks, Leopards, Giant forest Hogs and many other animals. Bwindi Park is known best for the fascinating Gorilla tracking Safari, the time taken will depend on the movement of the Primates and spending time with them is a thrilling experience and rare, this also leaves you with an unforgettable unique experience and memory of a Ugandan Gorilla safari. These Primates are shy and peaceful it can also be memorable to watch them interact with each other and also take photographs of them. We shall later have dinner and an overnight in the camp.



Dinner and overnight at the Luxurious Gorilla Resort Camp/ Mahogany Springs /Lake Kitandara Camp /Basic Buhoma community Bandas.



Day 4: Cross to Rwanda



On this day we shall head to Rwanda for Gorilla tracking Safari after breakfast. We shall drive to Kisoro and cross the Rwandan Border to Ruhengeri.

Dinner and an overnight at the Mountain Gorilla Nest or Kinigi Guest House.



Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Parc National des Volcanoes (PNV)



On this day we shall have an early briefing by the guide at Rhengeri Park headquarters in Pac de Volcanoes. Then we shall start our Gorilla tracking in Rwanda at 9:00am and the time we shall spend tracking will depend on the previous location and movement of the Gorillas. There after we shall drive back to Uganda for dinner and an overnight at Kabale White House Inn.



Day 6: Game Viewing in Lake Mburo National Park.



On this day of our safari to Uganda, we shall have an early morning breakfast and after that we shall drive to Lake Mburo National Park and we shall enter the Park through Nshara Gate. Later in the afternoon we shall have a game drive which will lead us along the lake shores with trails of a clear walk way, the Kigambara loop offers us an interesting guided lakeside tours. We are confident we shall find Zebras, Cape buffalo and Eland; we shall also easily approach the Pribi and Topi around this area. We shall along with other visitors enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo with self-guided natural trails. For those who enjoy bird watching will have a chance to view more than 250 species on Lake Mburo like the Papyrus Gonoleks, Brown-faced Lapwings, Carruther’s Cisticolas, the extraordinary white winged Warbler and Bare-Faced go- away bird. After all this we shall then drive to Masaka town for dinner and an overnight at Brovad Hotel.



Day 7: Equator, Royal Drum Makers, Entebbe



We shall have an early breakfast on this day and then we proceed to Kampala so we can arrive in time for lunch, we shall the drive to Mpigi Royal Drum Makers. You will get a chance to see the ceremonial drums being made, we shall also stop at the Equator for photographs and then proceed to Kampala, and we shall be in Kampala around midday and head straight to the Airport for your Flight.
